How do I ask this guy about our relationship?

I think it's smart of you to ask him; I wouldn't want someone I'm talking to, who I'll likely date, going around talking to other girls. Whenever you guys are talking about seeing each other again in the fall, you should ask him how he sees your guys' relationship. Then you can mention the talking to/seeing other girls.
