Forged/counterfeit/trademark what can u face?

ok a friend of mine got arrested for that and got locked up in a flea market in GA,so i wanted to know what can he face? and knowing that the Warrant issues for him dont have his name on it its another name,and when they searched his booth the Officers they took an amount of money that disappear.but the history is one of his people who was working across him was using his mail address to bring some illegal stuff on his store and now the police was targeting his booth...so what can we do and what is the procedure? should we take a lawyer to sue the police or sue the other workers around my friend?
