Why is there a Type-o on almost every website for The Great Gatsby?
On page 116 in The Great Gatsby, it says: He wanted nothing less of Daisy than that she should go to Tom and say: "I never loved you." After she had obliterated three years with that sentence they could decide He wanted nothing less of Daisy than that she should go to Tom and say: ‘I never loved you.’ After she had obliterated three years with that sentence they could decide upon the more practical measures to be taken." Does this have any significance in the story or a possible censor for a subliminal message?
